Neon Snail Trails (GMTK Jam 2017)

Neon Snail Trails is a two-player race to mark territory with a twist: players must use both their own and their opponent's tiles to control their speed.

The game matches the GMTK Jam 2017 theme of "Dual Purpose Design" by using its core tile color changing mechanic to serve multiple functions: scoring system and controlling player speed. Running over your own color tiles speeds you up, but running over your opponent's tiles slows you down.
